Yuva Vikash Kendra (YVK) is committed to serving vulnerable communities across the globe. Since 2020, YVK has been guided by the principles of humanity, compassion, and community solidarity. In the twenty years since the establishment of Tripru, public health emergency across the State of Tripura, ensuring that vulnerable families receive timely assistance when they need it.
Our emergency response focuses on reaching remote, marginalized, and disaster-affected communities with essential relief materials, food support, hygiene supplies, and other life-saving assistance.

COVID-19 Pandemic Response (2020–2022)
Throughout the pandemic, Yuva Vikash Kendra supported approximately 13,790 vulnerable families across the state.
- Our humanitarian response prioritized:
- Distribution of emergency food and dry ration kits
- Hygiene and sanitation supplies
- Essential household items
- Awareness campaigns on COVID-19 prevention and safety measures
- Support for families living in remote and inaccessible villages
Through coordinated efforts with local communities, volunteers, and stakeholders, YVK ensured that relief reached those who were most affected by the crisis.
Supporting the COVID-19 Vaccination Drive
YVK worked in close collaboration with the Government of Tripura to promote COVID-19 vaccination across communities. The organization supported vaccination awareness campaigns, community mobilization, beneficiary registration, and local coordination to improve vaccine accessibility, especially in remote rural and tribal areas.
Through these collaborative efforts, YVK contributed to increasing public awareness, reducing vaccine hesitancy. and supporting the state’s public health response.
Flood Relief Response - 2022
The devastating floods of 2022 severely affected many households in West Tripura District, causing widespread displacement and damage to homes and livelihoods.
Yuva Vikash Kendra responded immediately by providing emergency relief assistance to approximately 1,780 affected families, including:
- Food and dry ration kits
- Drinking water and essential supplies
- Hygiene and sanitation materials
- Basic household necessities
Our team worked closely with local authorities and community voluneters to ensure timely delivery of relief materials to the affected communities.
Flood Relief Response - 2024
The massive floods of 2024 impacted several districts of Tripura. leaving thousands of families in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
YVK extended emergency relief support to approximately
3,649 affected families across:
- West Tripura District
- Sepahijala District
- Gomati District
- Dhalai District
The relief intervention included:
- Emergency food assistance
- Safe drinking water
- Hygiene and dignity kits
- Essential houschold items
- Community-based emergency support
Special attention was given to vulnerable groups, including women, children, elderly persons, and marginalized communities living in the most severely affected areas.
