Yuva Vikash Kendra (YVK) is committed to serving vulnerable communities across the globe. Since 2020, YVK has been guided by the principles of humanity, compassion, and community solidarity. In the twenty years since the establishment of Tripru, public health emergency across the State of Tripura, ensuring that vulnerable families receive timely assistance when they need it.
Our emergency response focuses on reaching remote, marginalized, and disaster-affected communities with essential relief materials, food support, hygiene supplies, and other life-saving assistance.
Throughout the pandemic, Yuva Vikash Kendra supported approximately 13,790 vulnerable families across the state.
Through coordinated efforts with local communities, volunteers, and stakeholders, YVK ensured that relief reached those who were most affected by the crisis.
YVK worked in close collaboration with the Government of Tripura to promote COVID-19 vaccination across communities. The organization supported vaccination awareness campaigns, community mobilization, beneficiary registration, and local coordination to improve vaccine accessibility, especially in remote rural and tribal areas.
Through these collaborative efforts, YVK contributed to increasing public awareness, reducing vaccine hesitancy. and supporting the state’s public health response.
The devastating floods of 2022 severely affected many households in West Tripura District, causing widespread displacement and damage to homes and livelihoods.
